November 2009 Mission Trip to Peru Pictures

 
Happy Holidays  ~ I picked out a few pictures which show a few of the sights and activities.  It was hard narrowing my selections to 13 pictures, out of the 2,000 I took :)

I was able to extend the mission trip by 3 days and travel to see one of the seven wonders of the world "Machu Picchu".  What at wondrous sight.  Here are two pictures which give you a glimpse of the splendor.

December 2, 2010 Update on Samuel

Samuel is doing great! It is wonderful to see him in such high spirits. He has almost full use of his hands and is anxious to get the ok from his doctor to start working again as a seamstress.

There is a photo of the house that was built for Samuel and his family.  In Peru when the roof is put on a house there is a great celebration and the home is blessed. His home is almost complete and the family is very excited to move in. Three weeks ago they celebrated the building of the roof.
