Safe Arrival In Peru

We finally got here at 5.30 this am. Father Alex and Dr. Robert Gehringer picked us up at the airport. It was only a short trip to the volunteer house. It was a long trip with little sleep but we made it. We had a quick breakfast and then got some sleep. My adrenaline is pumped so I woke up within 2 hours.
The volunteer house is very nice I never expected such nice accommodations. Veronica is the housekeeper and cook. I am sure we will get to know her well. The view from my bedroom window is beautiful can see all the mountain peaks. It snowed in the mountains yesterday so the peaks are white. They said that over the past years it is not very often they get to see snow. It has been very dry here and the warmer temperatures have caused the snow to disappear.

Father Alex and Dr. Robert Gehringer are coming back at 10.30 am. to meet with us. We will be going to the clinic at 3 pm because they shut down between 1 and 3 every day.
